popular - Strawberry Ice Cream



Luscious strawberry ice-cream to savor after a Sunday meal.


ingredients
Cream, 250ml
caster sugar, 2 tablespoons
vanilla essence, 1 teaspoon
sliced fresh strawberries, 4 tablespoons
ice cubes, 4 scoops
salt, 4 tablespoons

Plastic can
Large can


preparation method
Mix together vanilla essence, sugar, cream and the strawberries in a plastic can of one liter capacity which comes with a tight lid. Toss well to ensure all the contents are mixed properly. In another large plastic can, put salt and ice. Now put the small can inside the bigger one and close the lid tightly. Keep on shaking till all the contents inside the small can become thick and form soft cream. Keep shaking for around ten minutes.


Serving Suggestions
Serve chilled and you can add crushed chocolate cookies as a dollop.
