Ingredients needed for Aloo Gobi
Cauliflower : 1 pic (medium)
Potatoes : 2 pics (medium)
Tomatoes : 2 pics (medium)
Green peas : ½ cup
Onion : ½ cup (2 pic fine chopped)
Ginger Garlic paste : 1 tsp.
Green Chilies : 2 pics
Coriander Powder (Dhaniya) : 2 tsp.
Turmeric powder (Haldi) : ¼ tsp.
Garam Masala : ½ tsp.
Asafetida (Hing) : ¼ tsp.
Cumin seeds (Jeera) : ½ tsp
Bay leaves (Pataraj or Tej pata) : 2 pic
Salt : 1 tsp. (to taste)
Vegetable Oil : 3 tbsp
Fresh Coriander leaf (fine chopped) : 1 bunch
How to make gobi ki sabji
Step 1
First clean all the vegetables (Cauliflower, Potatoes & Tomatoes) & cut it in small size.
Step 2
Take any fry Pan & fry Cauliflower & Potatoes together for 4-5 minutes (fry with some cumin seed) then keep aside.
Step 3
Boil the Peas in water with a pinch of salt, until it become soft (approx. 5-6 minutes).
Step 4
Now again Add asafetida and cumin seeds to the hot oil after seeds crack add the bay leaves and green chilies and stir for a few seconds.
Step 5
Next, add chopped Onion, ginger-garlic paste & fry it until onion color become golden brown color.
Step 6
Next, add all the items like fried cauliflower, potatoes, boiled peas, fine chopped tomatoes & all the masala including salt stir it & cover it for a minutes (approx. 2 mins).
Step 7
Now add 2 cups of water & mix it well, cover the pan & cook it on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes or make sure cauliflower & potatoes get boiled, also be sure to stir it gently on every 2-3 minutes.
Step 8
Now your Aloo Gobi is ready, for garnishing sprinkle coriander leaves & cover it.
